Beauty and Massage Institute, also known as BMI, is the Vero Beach campus of Academies of Cosmetology. Located on U.S. 1 in Vero Beach, this campus gives students the opportunity to explore hands-on training in beauty, barbering, skincare, nails, and massage therapy.
With several program options available at one location, BMI may be a good fit for students who are interested in client-focused careers but are still deciding which area feels right for them. Beauty and Massage Institute is located on U.S. 1 in the 12th Street Plaza in Vero Beach. The campus is convenient for students coming from Vero Beach, Sebastian, Fort Pierce, and nearby Indian River County communities.

The cosmetology program gives students the opportunity to build skills across hair, skincare, nails, and salon-focused services. Great teachers and staff. Much support from everyone and appreciated the time spent to understanding the studies/ test preparation including how to gain skills to be a great successful massage therapist, and not to give up. I never in my life had high test scores. But , here I did. Being at age 56 it was an huge challenge, but grateful for the accomplishments that I have achieved. Even when I got sick, I got the help to get caught up with the rest of the students . This place became my own sanctuary. Dreams do come true.
